Admiral (ret.) B.R. Inman
Admiral Inman served in the United States Navy for over thirty years, completing a legendary career in naval intelligence as NSA Director (1977-1981) and CIA Deputy Director (1981-1982).
After retirement from active duty, Admiral Inman served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas (1987-1990) and advised several U.S. presidents, including as Acting Chair of President George H.W. Bush's Intelligence Advisory Board (1991-1993). A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Admiral Inman has been teaching at his alma mater since 1987, and has been Professor and Lyndon B. Johnson Centennial Chair in National Policy at the University's LBJ School of Public Affairs since 2001.
Admiral Inman has strong ties to Japan and the NATO countries, as well as to high tech industry. He played a critical role in initiating the Austin, Texas tech industry as a businessman and Dallas FED Chairman.
Since 2000, Admiral Inman has been a Senior Advisor to PTB Global Advisors.
